• 1 lb (450g) muslos de pollo or pechuga, cortados en tiras
• Salt and pepper
• 1 cucharada de aceite (vegetal or olive oil )
For the glaze:
• 1/4 cup of soy salsa
• 1/4 cup of honey or azúcar morena
• 2 spoonfuls of vinegar of arroz or sidra of manzana
• 2 dientes of ajo, picado
• 1 cucharadita of jengibre, rallado
• 1 cucharadita of corn mixed with 1 cucharada of water (for espesar)

1. Prepare the chicken: season the chicken strips with salt and pepper.
2. Sear the chicken: Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until browned on both sides and almost cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Make the glaze : In the same pan, add soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until it begins to thicken slightly.
4. Thicken the sauce: Add the corn slurry (corn starch mixed with water) to the sauce, stirring continuously until it thickens to a glaze-like consistency.
5. Combine and caramelize: Return the chicken to the pan and pour over the glaze. Continue cooking for a few minutes, coating the chicken until it is shiny and caramelized.
6. Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy hot!
